The Wolfs are for boys who have completed the first grade (or age 8). There are 12 achievements a boy must earn to earn his Wolf badge.
This is a very basic and general description of what the boys will be doing while earning the Wolf rank. The den leaders and the scout book for this rank will have all the detailed information on what your child will be doing.
To earn the Wolf rank a Cub Scout must complete 58 out of a possible 74 tasks that are offered in the book.
These activities are primarily done at home and signed off by the parent after the has completed each task. The book is then shown to the Den Leader who records the progress and also signs the boy's book.
