Bobcat

The Bobcat rank is for all boys who join Cub Scouting.

This is a very basic and general description of what the boys will be doing while earning the Bobcat rank.  The den leaders and the scout book for this rank will have all the detailed information on what your child will be doing.

Any boy joining the Cub Scouts, regardless of what level he enters the scouts, must earn the Bobcat rank.  Tiger Cubs earn their Bobcat rank after the Tiger Cub rank, all boys joining after the Tiger Club year start with the Bobcat

To earn the Bobcat rank the new Cub Scout must do the following:

"I ...(name)...promise to do my best
To do my duty to God and my country,

The pack helps the Cub Scout Grow.
